Fred Rosser, aka “Mr. No Days Off”, was born November 2, 1983 and has been wrestling since 2002 when he made his indies debut. He is most known for his time working in WWE under the ring name, Darren Young for the past 9 years. He began on the developmental show, WWE NXT in 2010 in its first season. He then debuted on the main roster, June 7, 2010 apart of the popular group, The Nexus. A few years later, he became partners with Titus O’Neil, becoming the one of the most popular tag-teams in WWE history, the Prime Time Players. They teamed for years, and broke up in 2014 after Titus attacked him, leading to a memorable feud. On August 15, 2013, he made history announcing that he was gay becoming the first WWE Superstar in history ever to do that, paving the way for LGBTQ athletes around the world. He became WWE Tag Team Champion with Titus O’Neil in 2015 at WWE’s Money in the Bank PPV. In his final years with the company, Bob Backlund became his mentor, feuded with The Miz for the Intercontinental Championship and also briefly feuded and teamed with Titus O’Neil again. On October 29, 2017, he was shockingly released with the WWE, after being off TV due to an injury. He was wrestling at the house shows and participated in community events. He now returns to the Indy scene as “Mr. No Days Off”, Fred Rosser, as he continues his legacy and an advocate for LGBTQ citizens and athletes everywhere.
