Which Superstar will stand tall in the Battle Royal honoring The Eighth Wonder of the World?

One of WrestleMania’s fastest-growing traditions will return this Sunday when a legion of Superstars collide in the 3rd Annual Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.

Get the full WrestleMania Week schedule on WWE Network and USA Network

Introduced in 2014, the over-the-top-rope Battle Royal honors the incomparable WWE Hall of Famer. Known as The Eighth Wonder of the World, the 7-foot-4, 520-pound Andre, who passed away in 1993, was considered the “King of the Battle Royal” in his heyday.

The rules of the contest are simple: All participants start in the ring at the same time, and the only way to be eliminated is to be thrown over the top rope, with both feet touching the floor. The melee continues until just one man is standing. The winner will earn not only the distinction of being the event’s third victor, but also a statue bearing Andre’s likeness.

So far, the following Superstars have declared they will enter this year’s edition of the Battle Royal:

  • Heath Slater
  • Curtis Axel
  • Adam Rose
  • Bo Dallas
  • Big Show
  • Kane
  • Tyler Breeze
  • Mark Henry
  • Jack Swagger
  • Fandango
  • Damien Sandow
  • Darren Young
  • Konnor
  • Viktor
  • Goldust
  • R-Truth

Who will join the ranks of past winners Cesaro (2014) and Big Show (2015)? Which other Superstars will risk life and limb to compete in the lawless fray? Stay tuned to WWE.com for updates as they become available, and don’t miss WrestleMania when it airs live on WWE Network Sunday at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT. (source)

For two Superstars, the path to this Sunday’s Royal Rumble Match begins with victory on the Royal Rumble Kickoff.

The Dudley Boyz, The Ascension, Mark Henry & Jack Swagger and Darren Young & Damien Sandow will collide in a Fatal 4-Way Tag Team Match on the Kickoff. The winning team qualifies to enter the Royal Rumble Match later in the night. At stake in this year’s historic 30-Superstar brawl is Roman Reigns’ WWE World Heavyweight Title.

WWE World Heavyweight Championship opportunities are hard to come by for any Superstar, let alone those competing in the tag team ranks. Which duo will rise to the occasion and claim their Rumble spots with a win in the Fatal 4-Way Match?

Watch all the action when the Royal Rumble Kickoff airs live on WWE Network at 7 ET/4 PT, as well as streams for free on WWE.com, the WWE App, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Pinterest, Pheed and Google+. (source)

Next Monday night at 8/7 C on USA Network, brace yourself for the explosive season premiere of The Longest-Running Weekly Episodic Television Show in History — featuring not one, but two championship matches!

The monumental celebration could see Nikki Bella’s potentially record-breaking Divas Title reign hit a “Natural” roadblock. After winning the Divas Title Beat the Clock Challenge, Charlotte’s petition to have her Night of the Champions title opportunity moved up was granted by The Authority. As a result, if she can win the butterfly-emblazoned title next week, she will stop Nikki Bella from becoming the longest-reigning Divas Champion of all time.

In addition, don’t miss a WWE Tag Team Championship rematch, in which reigning titleholders The New Day will go head-to head against The Prime Time Players. The winners of that showdown will put the titles on the line against The Dudley Boyz at Night of Champions!

Don’t miss the season premiere of Raw, next Monday at 8/7 C, only on USA Network. (source)

Can anyone eclipse The New Day?

In front of the capacity crowd at SummerSlam, The New Day overcame reigning titleholders The Prime Time Players, Los Matadores & The Lucha Dragons to become WWE Tag Team Champions for a second time!

With the “power of positivity” now sitting high atop of the tag team division, who will step up to try and dethrone them? Certainly Titus O’Neil & Darren Young will be clamoring for their  rematch. But what of their other SummerSlam opponents? Could Los Matadores or The Lucha Dragons  step up again? Or might others look to position themselves for a chance at glory? Surely, combinations like Dean Ambrose & Roman Reigns or  Wyatt & Luke Harper  could present  strong challenges to the new titleholders.

Most importantly, will that challenge show its face tonight? Find out on USA Network tonight at 8/7 C. (source)

Presiding over a division marked by great parity, WWE Tag Team Champions The Prime Time Players get set to battle The New Day, The Lucha Dragons and Los Matadores in a Fatal 4-Way Match at SummerSlam.

Diego & Fernando first upended Titus O’Neil & Darren Young in a non-title match on the July 20 edition of Raw, thanks partly to a distraction by Big E, Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods. Since then, The Lucha Dragons have been able to notch a win over Los Matadores, as have The New Day, underscoring the competitiveness in the tag ranks.

Which duo will assert itself as WWE’s premier team at The Biggest Party of the Summer?

Can O’Neil & Young’s well-meshed combination of strength and precision help them extend their golden reign? Will the presence of a third man at ringside for The New Day ensure their victory and, in turn, a second run with the WWE Tag Team Championship? Or will the mesmerizing speed, polished teamwork or awe-inspiring agility of either The Lucha Dragons or Los Matadores net one of those teams its first tag title?

Don’t blink when these four teams lock up in what is sure to be a fast-paced and exciting championship match at SummerSlam. Watch WWE’s summer spectacular live, only on the award-winning WWE Network, on Sunday, Aug. 23, at 7 ET/4 PT. (source)
